OxygenOS Stuck on boot screen. Help Needed. Jan 26, 2017

   I just opened my 3T box, set it up and updated the Android. I think something went wrong and it got stuck in the boot process. It now only shows the oneplus logo and powered by android screen.

   I cant even get into the recovery mode.

   Please help how to get the stock ROM back on when i cant even boot into the recovery mode. Thanks.

   hold the power button and the volume down button to factory reset it and everything will be ok

   i have tried doing that.. it wont go into recovery mode...

   It just wont go into the recovery mode. if i hold the power and the volume button down, it just reboots and gets stuck at the same place. nothing else happens.

   And if you try power+volume up?
   This will bring you in fastboot mode and from there you can try to go into recovery (+ and - volume to select, power button to enter)

   Hi, thanks for the link. So i read the thread and it says that the OP was not able to go into TWRP and installed the wrong ROM or something.

   I am currently not able to go into the recovery also. Was this the same thing that happened to you? Did you fix it via the thread you posted? Thanks.

   If you can't fix it, and it's within the warranty period. Then you can return it, get a refund or get a new device altogether

    that method will fix your device no matter where you are stuck... just follow all the steps and you will have a working device at end Good luck!

    Hi, thanks. That is what i was thinking. Just one question, if i return the phone now, will i get back the full amount? Do i have to pay for shipping? I'll just buy a new set.

    I've had the same problem and in my experience, you can get into the fastboot menu but choosing 'Recovery Mode' from there gives you the same problem - it just gets you stuck on the OnePlus logo screen, the same as if you've powered on the phone holding power and vol down.

    It's as if the recovery image has either been damaged as well or is just inaccessible.

    But you can get in fastboot mode by that and flash standard recovery back.
    From there you can or try to start up or do a factory reset

    Don't think they will buy that as the phone is " not working" anymore.
    Open a service ticket within your account and they will fix it for you.
    Or go into fastboot, flash the standard recovery and you will be able to boot into recovery again. From there do a factory reset.

    Yes, same thing. I was unable to get into recovery. All I did was install the drivers and the application that was provided in the link. Run through the provided steps and I was good to go. Once I got the steps right I was back to out of the box condition within 30-45 minutes. Much quicker than sending for a replacement.
